Caszper Canidate
Geron “Caszper” Canidate is a legendary street dancer best known as one of the key figures who taught Michael Jackson the "backslide," which the world would eventually come to know as the Moonwalk.
Emerging from the Los Angeles street dance scene and the Soul Train stage in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Caszper was a master of Popping and Animation. Along with fellow dancers Derek "Cooley" Jaxson and Jeffrey Daniel, he was instrumental in translating raw street styles into the polished, high-precision movements that defined Jackson’s iconic performance era.
