Perry Brown

Perry Brown is a Soul Train Gang member, mostly known for dancing along with Damita Jo Freeman in the TV show Soul Train.

Perry was a member of one of the most influential dance and vocal groups in street dance history, Something Special. Along with Scoo B Doo, Damita Jo Freeman, Pat Davis, Edward Cole, Wanda Fuller and Bert woods, they travelled around the world being one of the first Street Dance groups to ever do it and the first to introduce street dance styles into Asia visiting other countries like Japan, Singapore, etc.

In this group, they improved everything they had done in Soul Train, making routines beyond expectation for the style of each one of them, for more than one hour.

Always giving their best, making unforgettable moments into their performances and in the street dance history and as a band, being reminded until these days in Asia as a brilliant group.
