A true icon of our culture. Trish Lash, is one of the pioneering forces of Street Jazz — Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. She won a nationally syndicated dance television grand finale and moved to Los Angeles, becoming known as one of the eighties dance contest queens whose influence still echoes through generations of dancers around the world.

Her talent doesn’t stop on the dance floor. She’s a creator, a writer, an editor, a voiceover artist, a co-host, an emcee, a promoter, and a professional musician — a multi-disciplinary powerhouse whose passion pushes every project she touches, just like Street Dance Roots where she has been a fundamental part to help the project grow and shine.

She has entertained millions across the globe, sharing her art, her energy, and her unmistakable presence.

Beyond the stage, she is a humanitarian — unafraid to speak up when the moment calls for strength, yet grounded in humility and guided by a deeply spiritual approach to life.
