Laura Boogie

With a career spanning the evolution of modern street dance and commercial performance, Laura is a pioneering force in the industry. Her foundation in classical Jazz and Ballet, honed through the Professional Dancers Society, provided the technical springboard for her transition into the underground scene. She broke significant barriers as the first female member of the legendary LA City Rockers, where she was instrumental in evolving the art of Locking by integrating a unique, refined stylistic approach.

An accomplished performer of both stage and screen, Laura’s credits include featured roles in the film Fast Forward and collaborations with the Black Ballet Company. Her expertise in movement and staging has been utilized by some of the most influential figures in music, including Beyoncé, Drake, Ice-T, and LL Cool J.

Today, Laura focuses her extensive experience on the industry's technical and structural foundations. She is dedicated to professionalizing the dance scene from behind the scenes, mentoring the next generation in the essential arts of stage preparation, lighting, and production to ensure the culture continues to thrive at the highest professional standard.
